Role Overview
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the firm. This individual will play a critical role in driving financial strategy, optimizing operational performance, and supporting the company's continued growth and scalability.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in financial leadership within a growth-oriented, multi-entity environment, with the ability to balance strategic vision and hands-on execution.
Duties and responsibilities
- Lead all financial functions, including accounting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Partner with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute the company's long-term financial strategy
- Build and maintain scalable financial infrastructure to support growth across wealth management, estate planning and tax entities.
- Provide insights and recommendations on business performance, profitability, and operational efficiency
- Oversee cash flow management, capital allocation, and financial risk management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (RIA experience preferred)
- Manage relationships with external partners including 3rd party administrators, tax advisors, and banking institutions
- Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance across organization.
- Evaluate potential M&A opportunities, partnerships, and expansion initiatives
- Lead, coach and develop and the finance and accounting team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA strongly preferred)
- 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including senior-level roles
- 7+ years of leadership experience
- Experience in financial services, wealth management, RIA, or a similar professional services environment preferred
- Proven ability to operate in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
- Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
- Experience building financial models and supporting business scaling initiatives
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization
