Emerge Talent is proud to be conducting a search for a Chief Financial Officer on behalf of a leading manufacturing company near Hershey, PA. This is an exciting executive opportunity for a seasoned financial leader to make a lasting impact within a dynamic, growing organization.

Overview
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) provides strategic financial leadership and oversees all financial activities, including financial planning, capital management, accounting oversight, risk management, banking relationships, and financial strategy. This key executive leadership role partners directly with the CEO and ownership team to drive long-term financial performance, growth, and sustainability across multiple operating companies.

Essential Functions

  • Provide executive financial leadership for multiple operating companies, including oversight of accounting, financial planning, reporting, and financial operations.
  • Develop and execute the organization's financial strategy in alignment with business objectives and ownership goals.
  • Oversee consolidated financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Lead capital planning initiatives, including major equipment purchases, facility investments, and strategic expansion projects.
  • Manage banking relationships, debt structures, credit facilities, and financing strategies.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support executive and ownership decision-making.
  • Oversee cash flow management, working capital optimization, and liquidity planning.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations.
  • Oversee internal controls, audit processes, and enterprise risk management initiatives.
  • Partner with operational leadership to evaluate performance, pricing strategies, cost structures, and profitability.
  • Lead financial communications with ownership, auditors, lenders, board members, and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate tax strategy with external advisors and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor the Controller and finance team.
  • Drive ERP optimization and financial systems strategy across the organization.
  • Evaluate mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic partnerships as needed.
  • Establish financial policies, procedures, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency across all entities.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, corporate finance, and financial planning.
  • Strong manufacturing finance background, including cost accounting and multi-location operations.
  • Knowledge of capital markets, banking relationships, debt structures, and financing strategies.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate financial data into business decisions.
  • Proven executive leadership and organizational influence.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate enterprise risk.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with executive leadership, ownership, and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and financial modeling.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • CPA required.
  • 10–15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience.
  • Experience as a Controller, VP Finance, CFO, or senior finance leader within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading multi-entity and/or multi-location financial operations.
  • Proven experience with capital planning, financial strategy, and organizational growth initiatives.
Work Environment
This position is primarily office-based with occasional travel between company locations and meetings with banks, auditors, and strategic business partners. Periodic visits to manufacturing and production facilities are expected.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: $180,000 – $200,000
  • Target Bonus: 25%
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • Additional incentive opportunities may be available
