The Chief Development Officer (CDO) is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing the organization’s fundraising strategies to support community programs focused on housing, health, immigration, and justice.
Reporting to the CEO and supervising one Communications Specialist, the CDO leads efforts in major gifts, grants, institutional partnerships, and donor communications, with hands-on involvement in all development activities.
The role involves building relationships with funders and the community, overseeing grant proposals, managing donor data, and fostering a culture of philanthropy organization-wide.
Qualifications include 5-7 years of fundraising experience, success in securing major gifts, proficiency with CRM systems, and a commitment to social justice. Bilingual skills and experience with community-based organizations are preferred.
Salary ranges from $140,000 to $150,000 with comprehensive benefits.
