Cherry Picker Operator
Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday Friday, 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
A growing distribution company is seeking an experienced Cherry Picker Operator to join its warehouse team. This position is responsible for safely operating a cherry picker to retrieve, stock, and move inventory while maintaining accuracy, productivity, and safety standards.
The ideal candidate has previous experience operating a cherry picker in a fast-paced warehouse environment, is comfortable working at elevated heights, and is committed to maintaining a safe and organized workplace.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a cherry picker to pick, stock, and replenish inventory.
Pull customer orders accurately according to pick lists or RF scanner instructions.
Transport materials to designated staging, shipping, or storage areas.
Verify product quantities and inspect items for damage before moving.
Perform inventory replenishment and cycle count support as needed.
Maintain accurate inventory by following warehouse procedures.
Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
Follow all OSHA and company safety policies while operating equipment.
Assist with general warehouse duties, including loading, unloading, and housekeeping.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of recent cherry picker/forklift operating experience.
Previous warehouse or distribution center experience required.
Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems is preferred.
Ability to work comfortably at elevated heights.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
