We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Lab Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Chanhassen, MN 55317.Details of the position are as follows: 
 
Job Details:

  • Pay: $25 - $35 /hr to Start!! (final pay will be based on experience)
  • 6-month assignment, possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
  • Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5pm
  • Position will be mainly responsible for performing mechanical, electrical, and thermal property testing on thermal interface materials and coatings using established laboratory procedures.
  • Position will also be responsible for evaluating, collecting, and accurately recording experimental data while maintaining detailed laboratory documentation and test results.
  • Position will also be responsible for organizing and executing laboratory experiments under the direction of Senior Technicians and Chemists, following established testing methods and safety protocols.
  • Position will also be entering laboratory data into computer systems and prepare charts, tables, laboratory notebooks, and PowerPoint presentations to communicate project results and findings.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science is Required!
  • 1 year of lab experience is Required!
  • Experience working with mechanical / electrical / thermal properties testing of materials or thermal interface materials or coatings is Preferred!
  • Experience following safe lab practices is Preferred!
  • Experience with Excel sheets is Preferred!
