Join our client, a prominent innovator in specialty steel production, as you become an integral part of their analytical laboratory team. Your expertise in chemical testing will be vital to maintaining the integrity and excellence of their manufacturing processes. You will independently conduct various analyses to support daily operations, maintain and optimize lab equipment, and contribute to enhancing lab procedures.

Key responsibilities will include ensuring lab equipment operates reliably, analyzing steel and chemistry samples, and participating in routine maintenance and troubleshooting of instruments. Your role will involve preparing test samples, maintaining rigorous reporting practices, and keeping lab documentation current. Additionally, you’ll assist in the Metallurgy Lab, partake in skill enhancement activities, and occasionally travel to support our initiatives.

We are looking for candidates with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field. Equivalent experience is also considered. Previous experience in a chemistry lab with a focus on quality assurance is desired, along with proficiency in handling X-ray analysis tools. Attention to detail and managing tasks efficiently are crucial for success in this role. Collaborate effectively within the team, ensuring adherence to all company guidelines and safety standards.
