Job description:
- Perform routine and non-routine laboratory testing to ensure compliance with product specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct basic physico-chemical and analytical testing using, but not limited to:
- Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR)
- Particle Size Analysis (laser diffraction and/or sieve analysis)
- Pour Point Testing
- Flash Point Testing
- Thermo-gravimetric analysis
- Execute testing in accordance with established ASTM, ISO, and internal laboratory procedures.
- Review, analyze, and interpret test data to identify trends, deviations, and potential quality issues.
- Prepare accurate laboratory reports, certificates of analysis, and technical documentation.
- Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and support root cause analysis activities.
- Maintain laboratory equipment through calibration, verification, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in internal audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, technical, and customer service teams to resolve quality-related concerns.
