Location: Webster, NY

Schedule: 12 hour rotating shifts providing balanced 3 and 4 day workweeks

Compensation: $28.79 (Union role)

Overview:

Join Xerox at our state of the art toner manufacturing facility in Rochester, NY, where innovation meets advanced production. This role is hands on in a highly automated, team based environment supporting critical manufacturing processes. What You Will Do:

  • Ensure raw materials are manufactured into high quality toner through our innovative process working on premier equipment only found at our ISO 14001 certified plant
  • Operate aqueous based chemical process equipment
  • Control room and hands on process monitoring (both hands on in addition to control room centric operation)
  • Material handling equipment operation
  • Conduct basic analytical and lab characterization procedures such as pH, conductivity, particle shape and morphology determination, solids/moisture content, etc
  • Changeovers of large process equipment
  • Collect and report process data using Statistical Process Control Tools

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in a science related field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of measurement, safety, and basic chemistry principles
  • Ability to work effectively in a team based manufacturing environment
  • Experience in chemical manufacturing or laboratory settings is helpful
  • Familiarity with quality tools such as statistical process control or lean methodology
