Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of process and manufacturing engineers
  • Provide day-to-day technical leadership supporting production operations
  • Drive process optimization (yield, throughput, cost, capability) while maintaining purity standards
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement sustainable solutions
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions
  • Oversee raw material engineering, supplier performance, and material qualification
  • Partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and R&D teams
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven methodologies
  • Lead/support capital projects (equipment upgrades, process improvements, expansions)
  • Ensure compliance with EHS, regulatory, and safety standards
  • Support process safety programs, hazard reviews, and incident investigations
  • Contribute to new product introductions and process scale-ups

Profile


Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline
  • 8-10 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, specialty chemicals, or semiconductor materials
  • 3-5 years of engineering leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong background in process engineering, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
  • Experience in high-purity or regulated manufacturing environments preferred
  • Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma and structured problem-solving methodologies
  • Experience with capital projects and process equipment implementation
  • Strong ability to translate process data into actionable improvements
  • Effective communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally
