We are searching for an experienced Chemical and Control Room Operator for our client in Greensboro, NC.Direct Hire$28/hrMust be able to work all shifts: 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift/weekly rotationThis person will serve and Control Room Operator/Assistant Shift SupervisorSUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:The primary focus of this job is to perform the production duties assigned by the Production Manager.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Fill in for Production ManagerAble to perform the duties and responsibilities of a Multipurpose Chemical OperatorAble to supervise shiftsOperate Human Machine Interface ComputerWrite and train Employees on proceduresTroubleshoot problemsDrive Forklift and Hi-RiseCalculate using basic mathematicsAssist with process paperwork (Verify Batch process paperwork is available and approved for production)Trending the processAssisting in interviewing of new hiresAssigning work assignmentsWriting work ordersWorking with Ground water Monitoring and waste waterRunning the ProcessesOffloading and loading of TankersMaintenance issues when neededVerify orders in shipping when neededAccess SAP for inventory details and movementOperate ADT security systemCycle count supplies Make confined space entriesEDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Level- Minimum High school diploma or equivalentDegree- Bachelor’s degree/associates degree strongly preferredEXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE:Minimum 5 years’ experience in production manufacturing environment in Chemical Plant or like environment such as; Refinery, Pulp & Paper, resin, or petro-chemicalDemonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of an organizationAble to manage multiple priorities.Knowledgeable of area process equipment, chemistry and controls.Demonstrated ability to work in a team environmentStrong computer skills.SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:Be able to speak, read and understand English.Abide and follow all safety procedures.Be able to wear personal safety equipment provided by Alberdingk Boley, Inc.
