Are you precise, safety-focused, and ready to make products that hold the world together?

Step into a role where attention to detail meets teamwork. You’ll measure, mix, and process raw materials into adhesive products according to exact formulas—then help package them, including building boxes—so they ship with confidence.

Why this role?

Because you like clear standards, hands-on work, and seeing your impact by the end of every shift. We’re hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift positions in the Hotmelt department and offer shift differential pay.

Your Impact on Day 1

  • Use scales to weigh ingredients precisely; adjust until you hit target weights.
  • Follow batch tickets to select materials, quantities, and the correct sequence for adding to vats/hoppers/mixing pots.
  • Log time and temperature per batch requirements and maintain complete batch documentation (weights, product type, date, batch number).
  • Operate machinery; watch for malfunctions, stop equipment if needed, and notify your supervisor.
  • Inspect materials, containers, and product throughout processing for quality and consistency.
  • Move weighed and finished materials to production or storage; label and mark drums to maintain perpetual inventory accuracy.
  • Rotate through multiple stations on the line from start to finish; keep equipment and work areas clean.
  • Contribute to Lean Manufacturing improvements and safe work practices every day.

What It Takes to Succeed

  • Strict adherence to safety procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Clear English communication (spoken and written) sufficient to read tickets and document work.
  • Ability to learn scan gun use for inventory reporting and control.
  • Can repeatedly lift 55 lb bags and work an 8-hour shift; open to any shift.
  • Basic math fluency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Comfort working in a hot, dusty, non-controlled environment while wearing PPE.
  • Reliable transportation; dependable attendance.
  • Willingness to complete ongoing safety training and learn safe forklift operation.
  • Initiative to grow within the organization; continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and climb stairs for the duration of the shift.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive hourly rate with biweekly pay.
  • Paid vacation and holidays.
  • Uniforms and PPE provided.
  • Insurance options.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Additional perks.

Application Requirements

All applicants must successfully pass an interview, background check, and drug & alcohol screenings.
