Job Summary
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry invites applications for Teaching Assistants (TAs) for the Fall 2026 semester. There are openings for assisting CHEM 101 lab sections. Applicants must be pursuing an interest in the sciences in order to be considered (pursuing a major in chemistry or biochemistry is preferred, but not required).
Chemistry & Biochemistry TAs will get the opportunity to develop their understanding of the materials at hand, gain further knowledge of topics that they previously learned, develop a professional relationship with new students, and develop their skills as educators.
Responsibilities
5-8 hour/week commitment.

Qualifications
You must be an enrolled student at Oberlin College & Conservatory to qualify. In order to be considered, applicants must have earned a passing grade in CHEM 101, CHEM 103 or CHEM 102 (if taken this course after the placement test).
