We are seeking a dynamic and driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including but not limited to financial planning and analysis (FP&A), treasury, and risk management. This position plays a key role in the company's overall success, making it an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong financial background and a passion for construction. The CFO will report directly to the CEO and will have a significant impact on the company's strategic direction, financial health, and overall growth.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions.
2. Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts; conferring with the CEO, COO and Board of Directors.
3. Study, analyze and report on trends, opportunities for expansion and projection of future company growth.
4. Oversee the investment of funds and manage associated risks, supervise cash management activities, execute capital-raising strategies to support the firm's expansion.
5. Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction and growth.
6. Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
7. Provide strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance and new business opportunities.
8. Supervise the finance unit and provide direct leadership for the finance and operations teams.

Qualifications:

1. Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field is required.
2. More than 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, preferably in the construction industry.
3. Proven experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and Treasury.
4. Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Experience in managing the financial and operational aspects of a construction company, including legal, audit, compliance, budget, and resource development.
6. Proficient in using financial software and MS Office.
7. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
8. Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model.
9. An effective communicator at all levels in the organization, with strong oral and written skills and a willingness to share information.
10. A collaborative and flexible style, with a strong service mentality.
