We're an established Asian fusion restaurant in Durham, NC, known for creative, thoughtful cooking that draws on bold flavors across Asian culinary traditions. We've built a loyal following in the Triangle food scene and are looking for a talented, trustworthy chef to lead our kitchen and take ownership of the guest experience from the inside out.

We're looking for a Head Chef who is as comfortable managing a team and controlling costs as they are behind the line. This is a hands-on leadership role you'll set the tone for the kitchen, develop and evolve the menu, and be a key partner in the business. We want someone who treats this kitchen like their own.

What You'll Do
- Lead, train, and motivate a kitchen team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Develop, refine, and execute a seasonal menu rooted in Asian fusion cuisine
- Own food cost, ordering, vendor relationships, and inventory management
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and kitchen hygiene
- Collaborate closely with ownership on vision, direction, and growth
- Foster a positive, respectful kitchen culture

Requirements
- 3-5+ years of progressive culinary experience, including at least 2 years in a lead or head chef role
- Deep familiarity with Asian cuisines and fusion cooking techniques
- Proven ability to manage food costs and run an efficient kitchen
- Strong leadership skills you build people up, not break them down
- Stable work history with verifiable references from previous employers
