Join a highly respected GC doing one of the biggest projects in healthcare in Charleston at the moment as a Preconstruction Manager to support a growing Charleston office. This individual will play a critical role in estimating and client engagement across public and private projects.

Description
- Develop accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Lead preconstruction and estimating efforts
- Manage CMAR and negotiated work
- Engage directly with clients
- Support project pursuits and proposals
- Collaborate with internal estimating team
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment on project timelines and deliverables.
- Prepare detailed proposals and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate project risks.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
- Review and analyze project drawings, specifications, and requirements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the preconstruction team.
Profile
- A successful Preconstruction Manager should have:
- 5+ years preconstruction experience
- Background with top ENR or competitor
- Strong client-facing capabilities
- Experience with public CMAR work
- Strong knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, and project management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in construction software and tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- A background in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
