Your Role as a Charge Nurse RN
Skilled Nursing
Americare Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse RN to provide exceptional clinical care and leadership within our skilled nursing community. In this role youll serve as a frontline clinical leader - overseeing resident care guiding nursing teams and ensuring compliance with state federal and Americare standards.
This position is ideal for a Registered Nurse who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment values teamwork and is passionate about delivering compassionate high-quality care to residents.
Summary
The Charge Nurse RN is responsible for overseeing nursing services and resident care during assigned shifts to ensure safety quality outcomes and regulatory compliance.
This role provides clinical leadership and supervision to nursing staff including RNs LPNs CNAs and CMAs while maintaining accurate documentation administering medications and treatments and responding to changes in resident condition. The Charge Nurse serves as a key communicator between residents families providers and interdisciplinary team members.
This role may also be known as
Charge Nurse RN RN Supervisor Floor Nurse RN Shift Supervisor RN or Staff RN with Charge Responsibilities.
What Youll Do
Provide clinical leadership and oversight of nursing services during assigned shifts
Supervise and support nursing staff including RNs LPNs CNAs and CMAs
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations facility policies and standards of care
Complete and update resident assessments care plans and clinical documentation as needed
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Conduct routine rounds to assess resident status staffing coverage and care quality
Communicate changes in resident condition to physicians families nursing leadership and the interdiscipl
