Charge Nurse (RN) Rehabilitation
Shift: Full Time | Days 3x12-hour shifts (7am-7pm) with rotating weekends
Location: Ascension Saint Thomas Rehabilitation Hospital
Ascension Saint Thomas Rehabilitation Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to helping patients recover from serious injuries, trauma, or complex medical conditions. Our interdisciplinary team includes a medical director, rehabilitation-certified nurses, physical and occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, respiratory therapists, dietitians, and more. We focus on understanding each patient's needs and creating a personalized plan that supports strength, function, and recovery.
Position Summary
The Charge Nurse (RN) serves as a clinical leader on the night shift, providing support to nursing staff, collaborating with providers, and ensuring safe, high-quality patient care. Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, this role supports clinical operations, coaches and mentors nursing staff, and helps drive quality outcomes, patient safety, and professional practice standards. This position may also function as the primary clinical support when nursing leadership is unavailable.
