Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the nursing care for residents during your assigned shift.
  • Assign duties to CNAs and monitor their performance.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and provide direct resident care in accordance with physician orders.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning, assessments, and evaluations.
  • Communicate changes in residents’ conditions to the care team, families, and physicians.
  • Ensure compliance with care standards, safety protocols, and documentation requirements.
  • Participate in survey readiness, training programs, and policy implementation.
  • Act as a mentor to staff, providing feedback and on-the-floor coaching when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care preferred.
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead others while maintaining a resident-centered approach.
