Under the supervision of the ACPE Educator Supervisor of Clinical Pastoral Education CPE or the Manager of Spiritual Health and Education the Chaplain Resident provides spiritual support to patients visitors and staff members in addition to assigned coursework for the CPE program. Chaplain Residents use as appropriate a wide range of spiritual care skills including listeningattending empathic reflection conflict resolutionconfrontation crisis management and appropriate use of religiousspiritual resources. Responsible for performing job duties and implementing the mission vision and goals of the Spiritual Health and Education Department and Tampa General Hospital.
