The Manager, Channel Sales is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with current clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring the successful delivery of our polymer solutions. Based on defined market strategies the Manager, Channel Sales generates and leads sales of existing products, existing products into existing end markets, or existing segments within existing target markets. This position’s exceptional communication skills, strategic thinking, and ability to identify growth opportunities will be instrumental in driving customer satisfaction and company growth.
 
Primary Responsibilities

· Develop and Maintain Client Relationships: Establish and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted technical advisor and primary point of contact for various engineering and polymer-related inquiries.

· Client Needs Analysis: Conduct in-depth assessments of client engineering needs, objectives, and technical requirements. Leverage expertise in polymer science and manufacturing processes to recommend and design tailored engineering solutions that meet or exceed client specifications.

· Custom Engineering Solutions: Collaborate with internal engineering, R&D, and production teams to design and deliver customized polymer solutions that align with client requirements, ensuring optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability.

· Project Planning and Execution: Lead the development and implementation of account-specific growth strategies. Manage engineering project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables to ensure the successful execution of engineering projects.

· Market and Competitor Analysis: Monitor and analyze industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor activities in the polymer space to identify potential growth opportunities and areas for product and engineering innovation.

· Sales and Technical Negotiation: Work closely with the sales team to define product specifications, pricing structures, and contract terms. Negotiate technical aspects of sales agreements, ensuring both client and company needs are met.

· Account Reviews and Technical Support: Conduct regular reviews with clients to assess satisfaction with both the products and services provided. Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and performance optimization and help to integrate solutions with engineering processes.

· Technical Expertise in Polymer Solutions: Provide ongoing technical guidance on polymer selection, processing methods, and manufacturing techniques. Assist clients in resolving engineering challenges related to product design and material performance.

· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the technical liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication and alignment throughout the engineering project lifecycle. Facilitate coordination between engineering, production, quality control, and customer service teams.

· Travel and Industry Engagement: Attend client meetings, technical workshops, and industry events to stay informed about emerging engineering technologies and to strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.

· Safety and Compliance: Uphold and promote a culture of safety by ensuring that all engineering practices and processes adhere to company safety policies, industry regulations, and best practices. Participate in safety audits and contribute to the continuous improvement of safety protocols.

 
Experience and Education:
 

· Minimum of 3 Years of experience in account management, sales, or application engineering preferably in the polymer or chemical industry.  Prior medical and polymer distribution experience preferred.

· Successful completion of a bachelor's degree program with a focus on Polymer Science or Engineering is required.  Master's Degree in Polymer Science or Engineering preferred.

· Working knowledge of technical polymer solutions and manufacturing processes for the medical industry is required.
