We're looking for an experienced individual contributor to drive our technology and process change management efforts at UES. This is a key role, as part of the ongoing growth and enhancement of our company’s technology capabilities.  As a Change Management Specialist, you will be responsible for consulting on and contributing to our multi-year strategic Enterprise Application Suite implementation, including ERP, CRM, HCM and Ops applications, supporting the vision and future direction of UES. You will support the organizational readiness assessments and training and communications planning and execution efforts in collaboration with project managers, business leaders, and key internal/external partners at all levels. 

 

The Program / Change Specialist is responsible for maximizing the employee adoption of required applications and processes, as well as supporting the deployment / training efforts.  This role requires strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of change management principles.

 

This position is primarily in-office at our headquaters in Orlando, FL. 

Responsibilities:
  • Support change management strategies and plans to ensure smooth transitions during system implementations and upgrades
  • Effectively partner and coordinate with cross functional teams related to change management initiatives
  • Identify and address resistance to change by applying change management techniques and fostering a positive change culture within the organization
  • Develop training materials, including presentations, user guides, e-learning modules, and other resources, to support effective learning and application of the new systems
  • Coordinate and deliver training sessions, workshops, and seminars to employees using a variety of training methods, such as classroom instruction, virtual sessions, and webinars
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback mechanisms, and performance metrics, and make necessary adjustments to enhance training outcomes
  • Build effective partnership with local and regional Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) including project, HR and regional leaders to ensure the alignment of training programs and change activities
  • Solicit feedback from end-users and stakeholders to continuously improve training programs and address emerging needs
  • Create communication materials, including but not limited to newsletters, emails, and intranet content, and talking points to effectively communicate system changes, benefits, and training opportunities to employees
  • Support leadership and project working teams with the development of written and visual materials, presentations, and talking points.  Support the writing/editing/proofing of Change Management focused communications for various teams and stakeholder groups across UES
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on project tasks, tools, and/or specifications

Qualifications:
  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Industrial Engineering, Certificate in Change Management, Organizational Development or related field
  • Preferred: Master's Degree in Organizational Development
  • Experience of 5+ years in change management, training program development, and delivery.
  • Strong understanding of ERP, CRM, and Payroll applications, including their features, functionalities, and implementation processes
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to tell compelling business and result stories
  • Experience and/or aptitude with technical projects, partnerships, and process improvements mindset
  • Ability to partner and collaborate with various teams and leadership levels as well as able to proactively and efficiently work independently at times
  • Demonstrated strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 products and collaboration tools
  • Able to complete tasks assigned by the leaders in an efficient and timely manner

Travel Requirements:
  • This position requires travel, approximately up to 40% of the time, in support of business objectives and client engagements. Travel may be both scheduled and on short notice, depending on project needs. Destinations typically include job sites, field locations, or regional offices, where work may be conducted in outdoor or operational environments. Adherence to all company safety protocols and use of PPE is required during travel and on-site work.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
  • This position primarily operates in a professional office environment, requiring the ability to work at a desk for extended periods while using a computer, phone, and standard office equipment.
  • The position involves sitting for extended periods, performing data entry, and engaging in frequent communication via email, phone, and in-person interactions.
  • The role involves regular communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders, both in person and through virtual platforms.
  • The physical demands of the job may include occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting of office materials up to 15 pounds.
