This full-time position is for a Chair at the Associate Professor rank within the MSW Department of a leading HBCU, starting August 2026.
Responsibilities include overseeing curriculum, faculty, and program evaluation, serving on leadership teams, supporting faculty and students, and managing recruitment and retention efforts.
Applicants need a doctorate in social work or a related field, a master's in social work with at least three years of practice, and a strong record in scholarship, teaching, and service focused on urban communities of color.
Preferred skills include online instruction, curriculum development, and guiding junior faculty.
