Job Responsibilities


  • Develop and execute the organization’s financial strategy, aligning it with overall business objectives.
  • Oversee budgeting processes, providing accurate forecasting to guide organizational spending and investments.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide Part Time CFO support to select clients as needed or requested.
  • Identify financial risks and implement controls to protect the company’s assets and reputation.
  • High level preparation & review of client financials to ensure readiness of tax preparation; if needed
  • Assist with various tasks when required including preparing/filing/assisting with filing of: SOIs, 1099s, City of LA, WC & Liab audits, State SOS Renewals
  • Manage capital raising, debt financing, and investor relations to support growth initiatives.
  • Streamline financial operations and reporting systems for maximum efficiency.
  • Lead investment strategies to optimize returns and support long-term financial goals.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, maintaining a strong internal control environment.
  • Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Present financial results and insights to the Board of Directors and executive leadership team.
Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or CPA preferred).
  • At least 15 years of progressive financial experience, with a minimum of 5 years in an executive finance role.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate finance, investment strategies, and capital markets.
  • Demonstrated experience managing financial compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful financial strategies in alignment with business goals.
  • Extensive background in budgeting, financial planning, and analysis.
  • Experience working closely with executive teams and Boards of Directors.
  • Track record of building and leading high-performing finance teams.
