This role offers extensive training, career growth opportunities, and the tools needed to succeed in the field.What's Offered:* Company service vehicle, fuel card, tablet, and cell phone* Paid training, hands-on technical development, and manufacturer support* CFESA certification opportunities and career advancement* Competitive benefits package including 401(k) and PTOKey Responsibilities:* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial food service equipment including:* Cooking equipment* Refrigeration systems* Ware-washing equipment* Specialty kitchen equipment* Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation* Communicate with manufacturers and technical support teams for troubleshooting assistance* Complete installations, repairs, service documentation, and inventory management* Provide excellent customer service while partnering with restaurant and hospitality managersRequirements:* High school diploma or equivalent* 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following:* Commercial refrigeration* Appliance repair* HVAC* Commercial kitchen equipment* Related mechanical/technical fields* Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills* Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record* Ability to participate in an on-call rotation (nights/weekends)* Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in various environments including heat, cold, and around electrical/mechanical equipmentPreferred:* EPA certification* CFESA certification* Technical training or military mechanical experienceAbout Smart CareSmart Care is a national repair and service provider for commercial foodservice, refrigeration, and cold storage equipment.
