Job Duties
Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
Monitor anesthesia and provide perioperative patient care
Perform dental prophylaxis and dental radiography
Collect and process laboratory samples
Obtain diagnostic radiographs
Place IV catheters and administer medications and treatments
Monitor hospitalized patients and provide nursing care
Educate clients on preventative care, treatment plans, and home care instructions
Maintain accurate medical records
Support Fear Free and Low-Stress Handling techniques to promote a positive patient experience
Collaborate with veterinarians and team members to provide exceptional patient care
