Veterinary Technician | Emergency | 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift Available | $25/hr + (Dependent On Experience) | Applicable Shift Differentials | Racine/Kenosha, WI

The Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center (WVRC) in Racine, WI is hiring a per diem Certified Veterinary Technician to support our high performing Emergency Department - Choose when you work... and when you don't! 

Schedule and Compensation:

  • 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities available
  • $25/hour or higher, depending on experience
  • Shift differential for applicable shifts;
    • $3/hr for the hours of 4pm-12am
    • $5/hr for the hours of 12am - 8am

Qualifications:

  • Certified Veterinary Technician credentials are required for this role. 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience working in a Veterinary Hospital setting is required.
  • Emergency or Specialty experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community is required.
  • Maintain a positive outlook and ability to contribute in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills are required, and the ability to deliver exceptional client service is expected.
  • Strong Technical skills including phlebotomy, medication calculations, and radiology positioning.
