Certified Veterinary Technician

Hayden Pet Medical Center is growing—and we’re excited to be welcoming two new doctors to our team! We’re currently seeking an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician to join our expanding hospital.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician who enjoys working at the top of their license, especially in surgery and anesthesia.

In this role, you will:

• Provide high-quality patient care during surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep/recovery, and dental cleanings with radiographs
• Support an efficient workflow by anticipating the needs of the team and patients
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions

This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Saturday.

Full-time benefits and compensation**:

• Compensation: $22-26 per hour, for each hour worked*
• Bonus package: $2000
• CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

• 2+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
• Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Idaho
• Exotic Animal Experience is a plus
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Surgical setup and assisting
  • Phlebotomy
  • Inpatient care
