Position Details

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must possess and maintain a current Michigan Teaching Certificate

Experience with MTSS, intervention supports, attendance, behavior, family engagement, and/or at-risk

students preferred

Knowledge of restorative practices, data-driven decision making, and student support systems preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and leadership skills

Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff

JOB GOAL:

To support the academic, behavioral, attendance, and social-emotional success of students identified as at-risk

through coordinated interventions, family engagement, and collaboration with school teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide academic, behavioral, attendance, and social-emotional interventions to students individually

and in small groups

Use student data to identify needs, monitor progress, and adjust interventions

Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement student support plans

Support students facing barriers related to attendance, behavior, academics, homelessness, and mental

wellness

Assist with attendance intervention, dropout prevention, re-engagement, and transition planning

Connect students and families to school and community resources

Support MTSS processes, restorative practices, and student engagement initiatives

Participate in problem-solving teams, data meetings, and school improvement efforts

Maintain documentation and communicate progress with staff and families

Participate in professional learning and perform other duties as assigned
