Job Summary
The Central Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, assembling, and distributing surgical instruments and sterile supplies to support patient care. This role ensures all instruments meet infection control and sterilization standards while providing timely support to the healthcare team.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of Central Sterile Processing experience
- Ability to read, write, perform basic math (addition and subtraction), and interpret temperature gauges
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to infection control standards
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Schedule
- Shift: Night Shift (10:30 PM 7:00 AM)
- Hours: 40 hours/week (8 hours/day)
- Weekends: Required
Additional Information
- Hiring Manager will conduct a phone interview
- Candidate's first day will be on the day shift to complete badge issuance, onboarding, and facility access setup.
