School Nurse - Papillion La Vista High School 2026-2027 School Year

Job Description: The school nurse strengthens and facilitates the educational process by addressing students health related barriers to learning. The nurse promotes an optimal level of wellness for students and staff. He/She will uphold professional standards, the Nurse Practice Act and other state and local statutes or regulations applicable to school nursing practice.

Qualifications:

• Nebraska HHS license to practice as a Registered Nurse required.
• Bachelors degree preferred.
• Special services certification by the Nebraska Department of Education.
• Five years nursing experience preferred.
