The Certified Nurse Anesthetist prepares prescribed solutions and administers anesthetic following specified methods and procedures. Informs physician of patients condition during anesthesia. Performs pre- and post-anesthesia patient visits and documents anesthesia notes on patient records. Relies on education, experience, professional training, and judgment to accomplish responsibilities. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Works under minimal supervision. May lead and direct the work of others.
