Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team on a 6-month contract. The position involves providing anesthesia supervision in a busy hospital setting, covering a variety of surgical and diagnostic cases. Candidates must be willing to work full-time, including scheduled shifts that vary between 8, 10, and 12-hour days, as well as 24-hour + 16-hour shifts weekly. The role requires call coverage once a month on weekends and two weeknights per month, with mandatory work during the Christmas holiday.
Schedule & Shifts:
- 40 hours per week with varied shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Shift times: primarily 07:00 - 17:00 (Day shifts)
- Responsible for full-time coverage with flexibility based on weekly scheduling
Patient Population:
Adolescent, Child, Adult, Geriatric (90%+ over age 12)
Department Details:
- Operating rooms: 17 MOR, 7 DSC, plus specials, cath labs, endo, radiology
- Practice involves supervision-based anesthesia, including spinal blocks and occasional arterial lines
- Comfortable with Level II Trauma cases
- No involvement in burns, transplants, open heart, sick peds, or OB
Skills & Requirements:
- Board Certified (BC)
- Active DEA and CSR licenses
- Minimum 1 year of anesthesia experience (consideration for 6 months with strong qualifications)
- Willing to obtain or hold a license (credentialing approximately 30-45 days if licensed)
- Must be comfortable with supervision model (max 4:1 ratio); independent practice at nearby campus available for CRNAs performing OB
- EMR system: EPIC
Additional Details:
- Scrubs provided
- Must provide name, license status, and NPI
- No guarantee or restriction on specific shifts, primarily based at Boise with occasional assignments at Nampa
- Supervision model: supervision with a max of 4:1 ratio, with optional independent practice at a nearby campus for those qualified to perform OB cases
Hourly Pay Rate: $218.40
