Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia experience or at least 1 year working independently
- Board Certified in Nurse Anesthesia
- Valid state licensure
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience with regional anesthesia techniques such as spinals and peripheral nerve blocks (preferable but not mandatory)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience in community or critical access hospital settings
- Ability to adapt to diverse case types including general, ortho, ophthalmology, gynecology, ENT, and plastic surgery
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR system
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Nurse Anesthesia
- Proven experience in a hospital setting with independent practice capabilities
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work 2-3 shifts per week, primarily Monday through Friday
- Ability to support adult patients, with potential pediatric cases (pediatrics covered by pediatric anesthesiologists)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to associated facilities
- Compensation includes competitive hourly rate of $214.50, with enhanced rates for holidays and travel-related reimbursements
