Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Are you a skilled CRNA seeking an engaging opportunity to make a meaningful impact across diverse patient populations? Join our team for a vital role delivering high-quality anesthesia care in a dynamic hospital setting. This position offers a chance to work with a collaborative, supportive environment across multiple facilities, ensuring exceptional patient outcomes while advancing your professional expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide anesthesia services for a variety of surgical procedures across general, vascular, orthopedic, urology, plastics, dental, IR, CDL, thoracic, peds, neuro, and cardiac specialties.
- Work in main ORs and outpatient settings, primarily at Memorial and other nearby hospitals.
- Manage anesthesia for patients of all ages, both inpatient and outpatient.
- Cover a flexible schedule with options for 5-8s, 4-10s, or 3-12s shifts, including some weekend availability.
- Participate in night shifts (19:00 - 07:00), with no call requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment, utilizing Cerner EMR system.
Required Skills:
- Valid WV RN license and certification as a CRNA.
- Board certification in anesthesia.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical anesthesia experience.
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
- Ability to work independently and handle a broad scope of anesthesia cases.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience in multiple surgical settings.
- Strong intraoperative decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience working in ambulatory surgery centers and hospital ORs.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduate degree in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program.
- At least 2 years of post-certification clinical experience in diverse surgical environments.
Other Requirements:
- Credentialing process expected to take 60-90 days.
- Must be willing to work varied shifts, including some weekends, but not exclusively weekends.
- Ability to adapt to multiple hospital settings within close proximity.
