Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac CRNA to join a dedicated anesthesia team at a Level III trauma facility. This contract position offers a 6-month preferred length, with consideration for 3 months. The work schedule is a 40-hour workweek, comprising four 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM), Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, with availability required to work four weeks per month. Candidates must be able to work consistently every week, no part-timers.
Shift Details:
- 4x10s work schedule
- Evening call: one shift per week
- Weekend call: every 6 weeks (up to 2 times during weekend call periods)
- No transplants involved; small ECMO program
- Case Types: 100% Cardiac or CT Surgery including CABGs, Valves, Aortic Roots, Pericardial Windows, Lungs, Laser Lead Removal, Rib Platings
- Average Cases: 2-5 per day
- Practice setting: Hospital-Medical Center
- EMR: Epic (Highly Preferred)
Requirements:
- Board Certification: CRNA
- State License: Required or Compact License accepted
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS preferred
- Minimum Experience: 1 year in cardiac anesthesia
- Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
- Willing to obtain licensure if necessary
