Recreation Specialist needed in Helena, MT!
Job Summary: A Recreation Specialist is responsible for independently developing and supervising specialized programs that serve target populations or interest groups.
- Days: 10 hrs.
- 13-week assignment (with possible extensions).
What You Will Be Doing:
- Completes activity therapy evaluations and progress notes in a prescribed timeframe and high-quality fashion.
- Conducts activity therapy group sessions and individual sessions as needed, displaying good theoretical knowledge of group principles and good group techniques.
- Communicates effectively with families and outside agencies to promote referral development.
- Other duties as described.
You Are Likely A Good Fit If:
- Must have CTRS credential granted by NCTRC.
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation or a related field.
- Must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Recreational Therapist, or Therapy Assistant.
- AHA BLS/CPR.
Pay:
- Up to $2,642 per week based on 40 hours.
