Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)

Location: San Diego, CA 92173
Assignment Length: 4 Months (Possible Extension)
Weekly Gross: $1,238/week- $32/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Travel Note: May require float to other Health facilities. A valid, clean Driver’s License is required.

Requirements

• Experience: 1–2 years of medical lab experience as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) – Preferred
• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent – Required
• Certifications:
• California State Phlebotomy License – Required
• CPR Certification – Preferred
• Language: Bilingual English/Spanish – Preferred, not required

Key Skills & Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections
• Adhere to standard phlebotomy procedures and infection control practices
• Process and label specimens correctly for laboratory analysis
• Maintain professionalism and communicate effectively with patients
• Utilize medical terminology proficiently in documentation and patient interaction
