Description

Your future role at a glance:

Location: Tulsa, OK

Facility: Ascension St. John's Medical Center

Department: Pharmacy Services

Schedule: Full-time, evening shift, 2:30pm-11pm, Five 8-hours shifts per week, every other weekend, every other holiday

How you'll make an impact in this role:

Workflow Efficiency: CPhTs minimize delays by handling stock, preparing medications, and managing automation.

Patient Safety & Care: They perform medication reconciliation, recognize potential errors, and provide patient education.

Operational Support: They manage complex insurance issues, facilitate prior authorizations, and handle administrative tasks.

Clinical Support: By taking on administrative and logistical tasks, they allow pharmacists to dedicate more time to clinical services.

What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional requirements you'll need:
  • The pharmacy department will assist with obtaining an Oklahoma pharmacy technician permit. Certification via PTCB or NHA is required for the Advanced technician role.
