We're hiring an experienced pharmacy technician for a contract job where your expertise will directly support pharmacists in delivering exceptional care. In this position, you'll play a vital part in ensuring patients receive the medications they need by assembling, stocking, and distributing them with precision and care. Minimum Requirements:

  • State pharmacy technician license required.
  • 1-2 years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required.
  • CPht required.
  • Cerner EMR experience preferred.
  • Omnicell experience preferred.
  • Experience with preparation of IV admixtures, unit dose systems, inventory, and medication distribution preferred.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in acute care or hospital pharmacy settings preferred.
  • Experience working under DEA, TJC, and hospital pharmacy policies preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 20:00 – 07:30.
  • Schedule pattern: 7 on / 7 off.
  • Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.

Impacting Patient Care

The pharmacy technician functions under the direction and supervision of a pharmacist to support safe, accurate, and efficient distribution of pharmaceutical agents. Responsibilities include transport of pharmaceuticals, unit dose exchange preparation, inventory and stocking, ordering supplies, and preparation of IV admixtures. Work will follow applicable state and federal regulations, DEA standards, TJC standards, and hospital policies and procedures.
