Job Description

Are you passionate about helping others overcome challenges and find their path to recovery? As a Peer Support Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting clients who are navigating the ups and downs of behavioral health and substance use disorders. You'll use your lived experience to inspire hope, connect clients to vital services, and help them achieve their goals. This is a dynamic, team-based role that blends elements of peer support, crisis intervention, and personalized care coordination - all while working in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. Who You'll Work With:

You'll be engaging with a diverse group of clients, from adolescents to adults to older adults. Whether you're supporting individuals or their families, you'll be part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team that's all about improving the lives of those we serve.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Strong communication skills-both verbal and written.

  • A passion for working with diverse populations and a commitment to creating an inclusive environment.

  • Lived experience with behavioral health or substance use recovery.

  • Certification as a Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) through the Missouri Credentialing Board. If you don't have it yet, you'll need to obtain it within 90 days of being hired.

  • Reliable transportation is a must.

  • Completion of all required orientation and training within the established timeline.
