Your role will involve sharing your recovery story, providing validation, and fostering hope in a supportive environment. In this position, you will engage with clients through both face-to-face and telephone interactions, conducting assessments and providing essential support. Your ability to build trusting relationships will be key in promoting recovery and enhancing community living for those you serve.

Key Responsibilities:
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
Current certification as a Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) in the State of Missouri. If you don't currently have Peer Specialist credentials to meet this job requirement, you can submit an application to the state here: CPS Credential Application - Missouri Credentialing Board
Must self-identify as a present or former client of mental health or substance use services OR self identify as a person in recovery from mental health or substance use disorder.
Prefer prior professional experience working with clients in crisis.
Must be at least 21 years of age
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
