TEWS has partnered with one of Florida's largest and most successful construction firms in the Central Florida area to find a loyal and reliable Payroll Clerk with a go-getter attitude to add to their team.
Working hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm in office
$26.44-$31.25/hour, depending on experience
The Ideal Candidate:
4 years of previous experience as a Certified Payroll Specialist
Previous construction administration experience preferred
Ability to review work for accuracy and neatness
Think independently and develop solutions to problems
Excellent computer skills including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word); SAP experience preferred
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Essential Job Functions:
Review Certified Payroll records for accuracy, ensuring all information is complete across Statement of Compliance, Wage and Hour Record, Deduction Record, and Fringe Benefit Record.
Verify correct pay rates and amounts align with approved wage tables, including project and weekly totals, deductions, and net pay.
Collaborate with subcontractors on Certified Payroll processes and provide assistance as needed.
Address Department of Transportation inquiries promptly.
