Responsibilities

• Perform patient workups and collect medical histories

• Conduct visual acuity testing and preliminary examinations

• Assist physicians with diagnostic testing and procedures

• Perform ophthalmic imaging and specialized testing as needed

• Educate patients regarding treatment plans and follow-up care

• Maintain accurate electronic medical records

• Ensure smooth patient flow throughout the clinic

• Deliver outstanding customer service and patient care

Qualifications

• Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) preferred

• Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) preferred

• Previous ophthalmology or optometric experience required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment

• Experience with ophthalmic diagnostic equipment is a plus
