Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Elementary Schools | Thornton, CO
$45/hour | Full-Time | Remainder of School Year
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support elementary school students in Thornton, CO (Denver Metro Area). This is a full-time, onsite position working across multiple school locations within a supportive and collaborative team for the remainder of the current school year.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 5x8-hour shifts (40 hours/week)
- School Setting: Elementary
- Coverage:
- 3 schools (1 day per week each)
- 1 school (2 days per week)
Compensation:
- $45 per hour
- Consistent weekly schedule
- School holidays off

Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing occupational therapy services under the direction of an OTR
- Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
- Implement treatment plans and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff
- Adapt activities to meet individual student needs
Qualifications:
- Active COTA license in the state of Colorado
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to travel between assigned school sites
