Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Hours: 40 hours per week
Compensation: $1250 - $1296
Key Requirements
Administer occupational therapy modalities and treatment procedures as determined by a treatment plan established by an Occupational Therapist.
Provide direct patient care to help restore function and prevent disability following illness or injury.
Monitor patient progress and collaborate with the supervising OT to modify treatment plans as needed to ensure successful recovery.
Document patient treatments, significant changes in progress, and billing information accurately and timely.
Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians and nursing staff, to coordinate quality patient care.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment, ensuring all therapy equipment is in good working order.
Key Qualifications
Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program (Associate or Bachelor’s degree).
Current and active Maryland Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
Current certification in good standing with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
Valid BLS/CPR certification for healthcare providers.
Ability to commit to a 13-week contract with a consistent 40-hour weekly schedule.
