Position Summary:

NCTA is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to positively impact students in the school setting. This is a fantastic opportunity to impact children's health and well-being while enjoying a great work schedule!

General Information

  • Hours: Full-Time position available within school hours (Approx 8am – 4pm)
  • Pay Range: $25 - $32/hr
  • Working Days or Days per week: Follows a standard school calendar - 5 days per week
    • 30-40 hours per week
  • Hours per day: 7-8 hours per day

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document, monitor, analyze, and report students’ progress and effects of treatment regularly in conjunction with school deadlines and procedures.
  • Attend and report evaluations findings and therapy recommendations in family friendly language during IEP and ETR meetings.
  • Contribute to building a positive, supportive, and learning culture through collaboration and ongoing communication between school personnel and families.
  • Maintenance and documentation of ongoing therapy minutes and report due-dates.
  • Complete necessary Medicaid billing in conjunction with school deadlines and procedures
  • Provide ongoing treatment to assigned caseload
  • Communicate and collaborate with supervising Occupational Therapist

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program from an accredited college or university.
  • Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the State of Ohio.
  • Open to accepting the challenge of new assignments
  • Positive, goal-oriented and works well with others
