We are seeking a dedicated PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our skilled rehabilitation team within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) / Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in Austin, TX. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver occupational therapy treatments as prescribed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Follow established plans of care to improve function, relieve pain, and promote resident independence
- Monitor patient responses and communicate updates or needed adjustments with the interdisciplinary team
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and progress
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation per company and regulatory standards
- Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations
- Attend required meetings as directed by the Director of Rehabilitation
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree (or higher) from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current, active Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license
- In good standing with all regulatory and licensing boards
