In this role you will be:

Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals. Guide patients through therapeutic activities designed to improve function, mobility, and quality of life. Document patient progress and responses to treatment in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines. Educate patients and caregivers on techniques to improve independence and safety in daily activities. Communicate effectively with the OT, interdisciplinary team, and family members regarding patient care and progress. Adhere to ethical and professional standards, licensing requirements, and facility policies. Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

EDUCATION: Associate degree for occupational therapy assistant required

EXPERIENCE: N/A

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire required Valid PA driver's license with good driving record and access to a vehicle required Licensed as a COTA in the state of PA required
