Certified Nursing Assistant- Surgery Center

We are looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. Our Certified Nursing Assistants are dedicated professionals that provide high-quality, compassionate care to our surgical and procedural patients. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT

Working in our surgery centers gives you many opportunities to interact with and care for surgical and procedural patients. Throughout the day, a Certified Nursing Assistant cycles through the list of tasks and patient assignments in our fast-paced environments. You will work closely with the nursing staff to care for the patients. You will help patients move around the facility, reposition them in a way that allows them to be comfortable, or assist with readying equipment and supplies for use. You will be responsible to perform certain duties, for example, checking vital signs, testing blood sugar, taking blood samples, and other preoperative tests.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Current Wisconsin Certified Nursing Assistant certification or the ability to apply

• Strong organizational skills along with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

WORK SCHEDULE

The hours for a Certified Nursing Assistant can be variable, between 0600-1800.
