Overview:
PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Wilmington Treatment Center loves our CNAs! This position plays a vital role in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care by supporting daily needs and enhancing the overall well-being of those we serve.
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Works with admitting patients by completing vitals, pre-admission tests, and intake documentation
Complete vitals and performs various tests (i.e. glucose, UDS, HcG)
Performs patient rounds
Transports patients as requested
Performs administrative duties associated with the nursing/medical departments
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
· Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Certified Nursing Assistant program completion
Previous experience in behavioral health setting knowledge and experience working with the population of the facility preferred.
Newly certified CNAs are encouraged to apply
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
Current NC Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
CPR, First Aid, and de-escalation certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
Current NC Drivers License
